Escaping to the Italian Alps for their honeymoon, E & N traveled from the US to experience the quiet magic of Passo delle Erbe (Würzjoch).
Bathed in the soft glow of a warm summer evening, their sunset session was relaxed, playful and deeply romantic: wandering high alpine meadows as golden light washed over the limestone peaks of the Dolomites. The perfect, unscripted celebration of their new marriage.
About Passo delle Erbe
Passo delle Erbe (Würzjoch) connects the Villnöss area with Val Badia, at the foot of the mighty Sass de Putia. Compared with the famous passes it stays remarkably quiet, even in summer. Wide meadows, larch forests and paths that start right at the road make it easy to wander without a long hike, and the western view catches the last warm light of the day. That makes it one of my favourite places for honeymoon and couple sessions at sunset. More places I love.
