The Wedding

Beyond the day, preserved in time

Wedding Photographer in Vienna & Destination Weddings

Your wedding is a reflection of your story, and it deserves more than a template. From intimate civil ceremonies to multi-day destination celebrations, I document real weddings with raw emotion, refined composition and organic light. Based in Vienna and the Dolomites, I am available worldwide, especially across Europe.

In Vienna I photograph weddings in baroque palaces, Gothic churches and registry offices, from a quiet civil ceremony for two to a long summer celebration with family from around the world. Beyond the city, I follow couples to castles in the Austrian countryside and to destination weddings across Europe and further.

Every gallery combines modern digital photography with classic 35mm analog frames and optional Super 8 motion film, capturing authentic connection and timeless atmosphere without staged poses.

A few sneak peeks follow shortly after the wedding; your full gallery arrives within 6–8 weeks in a private online gallery, ready to download, share and print.

FAQ

Wedding photography questions

  1. Do you photograph weddings outside Vienna?

Yes. I am based in Vienna and the Dolomites and photograph weddings across Austria, Italy and Europe, and further for destination weddings, from a countryside wedding in Sweden to a two-day celebration in Marrakech. Travel is planned together with you for each wedding.

  2. Do you photograph small civil weddings at the registry office?

Yes, and I love them. An intimate civil ceremony at a Viennese Standesamt, followed by portraits in the old town and a dinner with your closest people, makes a beautiful story. The Intimate Day collection is made for days like this.

  3. How far in advance should we book?

Most couples book around 8–12 months ahead, and Saturdays between May and September go first. If your wedding is sooner, just ask: I might still have a date free.

  1. What is your photography style?

Candid and editorial. I document the day as it unfolds, with gentle direction for portraits that feel natural rather than posed. Every gallery is edited by hand in a clean, timeless tone, with a touch of film grain on key moments.

  2. Can we add 35mm film or Super 8?

Yes. Real 35mm film photos and nostalgic Super 8 film add texture and movement to your gallery. See the 35mm & Super 8 page for examples.

  3. How do we receive our photos?

In a private online gallery, where you can view, download and share your photos in high resolution, and order prints if you like.
