Bound by music in the heart of Vienna. Violinists Ugnė and Krzysztof gathered an intimate circle of family for a deeply personal church wedding at Maria am Gestade, one of the city’s oldest Gothic churches.
From the sacred ceremony to a small orchestra performance and a stroll through the old town towards the iconic Hotel Imperial, their day was a grounded, music-filled harmony of pure connection.
About Maria am Gestade
Maria am Gestade is one of the oldest churches in Vienna, a Gothic church in the first district, built high above what was once the bank of a Danube arm. Its slender tower ends in a delicate openwork dome, and inside, tall stained-glass windows fill the nave with soft, coloured light. For a church wedding in the old town it is intimate and full of atmosphere, and the lanes around it lead straight to the heart of the city for portraits afterwards.
