Surrounded by the grand architecture of Schloss Hernstein in Lower Austria, Kyo and Benedikt celebrated their marriage with family and friends who traveled from Korea, Afghanistan, the US and beyond.
Their castle wedding was a soulful blend of heritage and playfulness: a stunning ceremony, a nod to Korean culture with a hanbok wardrobe change, and an epic DIY karaoke party under the castle roof. Pure connection, rich culture and unscripted joy.
About Schloss Hernstein
Schloss Hernstein stands in the Lower Austrian countryside, less than an hour’s drive south of Vienna. The castle got its romantic historicist look in the 19th century, when it was rebuilt by the architect Theophil Hansen, and it is surrounded by a large park with old trees. For a castle wedding it combines a ceremony outdoors, a dinner in historic halls and a party under the castle roof, close enough to Vienna for guests arriving from abroad. My guide to getting married in and around Vienna.
