Radiating pure joy and effortless laughter, A & H explored the iconic pastures of Val di Funes for a lighthearted post-wedding session.
Set against the fairytale facade of the 18th-century St. John’s Chapel (San Giovanni in Ranui) and the jagged backdrop of the Odle (Geisler) peaks, their shoot was all about fun, genuine connection and unscripted moments: the ultimate souvenir of their time in South Tyrol.
About Val di Funes
Val di Funes (Villnöss) is a quiet farming valley in South Tyrol, closed off at its end by the jagged Odle (Geisler) peaks. Its two little churches are among the most famous views in the Dolomites: Santa Maddalena, surrounded by the village and its fields, and the chapel of St. John in Ranui, alone in a meadow below the peaks. The chapel stands on private land, and access to the meadow is regulated, so we plan the timing in advance. Golden hour, when the Odle glow pink, is the most beautiful moment.
