Tracing the steep ridges of Cadini di Misurina at first light. Traveling from New York to the heart of the Dolomites, K & E hiked towards the sharp limestone peaks long before dawn, the crisp alpine wind moving through a silk gown as night gave way to deep mountain blue.
Captured in those quiet, fleeting moments between blue hour and a golden sunrise, their pre-wedding session balances raw alpine scale with an intimate, unscripted atmosphere.
About Cadini di Misurina
The Cadini di Misurina are a cluster of needle-sharp limestone towers just south of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, in the Belluno part of the Dolomites. The famous viewpoint is reached by a short but steep walk from the Tre Cime toll road, with a narrow final section, so sturdy shoes are a must and a gown travels in a bag. Sunrise and sunset are the only times the ridge is calm; at midday the path fills with hikers. It is one of the most dramatic places in the Alps for a pre-wedding session. Plan the best season.
